Diwali 2023 Shubh Muhurat, Lakshmi ganesh puja vidhi, Muhurat Time, Samagri. Lakshmi Pujan is done to seek blessings for peace, prosperity, wealth, and good health.
Diwali or Deepavali is the most prominent festival of Hindus across the globe. The celebrations of this festival generally last for 5-6 days. Out of these days, the 3rd day is D-Day. During the run of these 5 days, every house, temple, shop is decorated with sparkling lights and earthen lamps. This festival is based on the theme; “triumph of good over evil”. As per our Hindu Vedic calendar, this festival of lights falls on the 15th day of Kartik that is on the new moon, every year. The 5 days of Diwali begins with Dhanteras and ends on Bhai Dooj.

Lakshmi Puja Muhurat 2023
Lakshmi Puja on Diwali should be commenced during Pradosh Kaal. This Muhurat lasts for 2 hours and 24 minutes and starts after sunset.
The Shubh Muhurat to perform Ganesh-Lakshmi Pujan on Diwali 2023 begins at 5:28 PM and will last till 7:24 PM. The duration of the puja will be 1 hour and 56 minutes. The timings of the puja differ from city to city. To know puja shubh muhurat for your city visit choghadiya.

Diwali Puja Vidhi
Start preparations for Lakshmi Puja from the evening. Place the idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on a post in such a way that Lord Ganesha should be in the right direction of Lakshmi and his face should be towards the east.
Sit in front of them and establish a Kalash on the rice.
Wrap a coconut in red cloth on this Kalash and keep it in such a way that only its forearm is visible.
Do these measures before the night of Deepavali -
- Take two big lamps and keep ghee in one and oil in the other. Place one at the feet of the idols and the other on the right side of the post.
- Apart from this, keep a small lamp near Ganeshji. Then at the time of auspicious time, first of all, sanctify by taking water, mouli, abir, sandalwood, gulal, rice, incense, light, jaggery, flowers, dhani, naivedya, etc.
- Then light all the lamps (it is considered auspicious to light a minimum of 26 diyas) and salute them. Leave rice on them. First men and later women worship Ganeshji, Lakshmiji, and other gods and goddesses, recite Sri Sukta, Lakshmi Sukta, and Purusha Sukta, and perform aarti.
- Start writing new ones by worshiping the books of accounts.
- Light several oil lamps and keep them in the rooms of the house, near the safe, in the courtyard, gallery, etc. so that there is no darkness in any place.
- After worship, keep one lamp each in the corners of the house.
- Keep a small and a four-faced lamp and worship Lakshmi with the following mantra-
नमस्ते सर्वदेवानां वरदासि हरेः प्रिया.
या गतिस्त्वत्प्रपन्नानां सा मे भूयात्वदर्चनात॥
